 | The Walk of Honor/Fallen Firefighter Memorial | |
The Chief Herman W. Brice Fire Rescue Complex
will soon be a reality; however we need your support to build a Walk of Honor
at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Park. You can help make this park a reality
by sponsoring bricks on the Walk of Honor. Thousands of inscribed bricks will
bear the names of individuals, departments and organizations. Bricks may also
contain short messages chosen by their sponsors.
The bricks have three lines to provide ample opportunity to identify the name
of the firefighter, the years served and a line with rank, station, or
nickname. For an added cost, specialized logos may be displayed. Memorial
bricks will allow all viewers to remember fallen firefighters who made the
ultimate sacrifice.
All proceeds from the purchase of Memorial Bricks will go
towards The Fallen Firefighter Memorial Park.
In addition, the memorial will also be used as a remembrance site in honor of
September 11, 2001. Visitors to the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Park will need
to allow several hours to view all of the moving messages and tributes on the
Walk of Honor.
Show your support to the fire service tradition and support the Walk of Honor
at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Park.
