On February 10, 2013 Palm Beach County Fire Rescue units from Battalion Three responded to reports of a vehicle accident at Hypoluxo and Military Trail. While responding dispatch advised that there was a vehicle fire as well. E43 requested a second rescue and went arrival to a fully involved van with all occupants already out of the vehicle and walking in the parking lot. E43 made a rapid fire attack and quickly brought the fire under control. One occupant from the van suffered injuries and was treated by R43 and R35 then transported to the hospital for follow up treatment of their injuries. The other vehicle involved in this accident had fled the scene prior to our units’ arrival.
