Firefighters Against Melanoma - War on Cancer Street Party

On Saturday, June 23rd, firefighters from around the county waged a War on Cancer!! A fundraising event was held by Firefighters Against Melanoma for Chris Bradley who is a firefighter with Greenacres Fire Rescue. Our own, Chief Jerauld and Greenacres Fire Rescue Chief Pure took the plunge in the dunk tank to help the cause! And they were not the only ones...Chiefs Mike Arena, Sam Eaton and Rich Ellis were getting their feet wet and supporting one of our local brothers in the fire service. There was a bounce house for the kids and raffles to be won and the Pipes and Drums were there to play for the crowd of people that showed up for the event, even though a little rain was in the forecast. The food was cooked by Chief Gribble and Bruce Britt and was a hit!

Thank you to everyone that came out to support this cause and special thanks go out to the Chiefs that helped make our "Chief" Dunk Tank the highlight of the event!
