On June 26, 2012 at 4:33pm Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a report of an aircraft incident at North County Airport, located in Northern Palm Beach County. Upon arrival they discovered that a small plane had crashed during touch and go training at the airport. Both the instructor and student pilot had only minor scrapes and bumps. The accident was attributed to a sudden gusting crosswind.
