Palm Beach County Fire Rescue in joint partnership with Professional Firefighters and Paramedics IAFF Local 2928 recently held a community event in Wellington. The event was well attended and allowed residents to meet the men and women that make up Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Throughout the day there were demonstrations of vehicle extrication, medical emergencies and live fire extinguishment. Children were able to dress up as firefighters, have their face painted, sign a fire engine and squirt water from a fire hose. The Health Care District of Palm Beach County also brought out one of the TraumaHawk's which was the highlight of the afternoon.
