Last Saturday, 4/21, as a mother was driving her pregnant daughter to the hospital , things went a little quicker than planned.  The baby started to deliver as they reached the intersection of Seminole Pratt and SR80 and they immediatly pulled over.  Our dispatcher, Lanard Hunt, talked the mother and daughter through a very excited few minutes and made sure the baby was ok and was kept warm as Rescue 21 rushed to the scene.  Today, Channel 25 interviewed our crew, the mother, grandmother and their new favorite person, Dispatcher Lanard Hunt.  The story is scheduled to air, April 27, on Fox 29 and on Channel 5 News.
